Hyatt Regency Tashkent presents 300 guest rooms in downtown Tashkent. The prestigious hotel offers 2 restaurants, a bar and significant event facilities. Tashkent is the capital and the most cosmopolitan city in Uzbekistan. Tree-lined streets and picturesque green areas surround the hotel. Within close distance are various government offices, hotels, shops and restaurants, foreign embassies, landmarks and tourist attractions. Immediately adjacent to the Hotel is the National Library.
Scope of job:
- You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
- - The Housekeeping Manager is responsible to manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry and dry-cleaning operation (hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry) and reports directly to Rooms Manager.
Description :
- To ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms.
- To ensure that no defect or dirty rooms are sold to a guest.
- To ensure that public areas are clean and up to standard.
- To communicate with the Materials department to ensure the timely ordering and receipt of additional stock as required.
- To provide clean and presentable uniforms for all hotel associates.
- To conduct frequent and thorough inspections of guest rooms and Rooms areas in general, together with the Front Office Manager and Assistant Managers - Housekeeping.
- To ensure that all daily arrival V.I.P. rooms, special request rooms, and long stay guest rooms are prepared with the appropriate welcome and other amenities.
- To work closely with the Front Office and Engineering Departments to block rooms as necessary for maintenance.
- To ensure that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.
- To work closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
- To make sure that Housekeeping associates work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments.
- To maintain the daily handover between shifts.
- To plan the outlet weekly roster and work schedules to ensure that the Housekeeping operation is adequately staffed to handle the level of business.
- To conduct regular communications meetings effective and as necessary.
- And other tasks that comes from Rooms Manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- We are looking for a candidate who has 2-3 years past experience as a Housekeeping Manager in Rooms department in a comparable hotel.
- As one of the key leaders in the hotel, the Housekeeping Manager needs to balance business acumen, with people management and technical skills in all areas of the Rooms operation.
- We expect the candidate to bring good leadership skills, paired with the ability to empathetically communicate with all guests and colleagues in the hotel.
- Good organization and communication skills, the ability to inspire and support innovation as well as a passion for caring service should be your strength.
- Your language skills include English and Russian.
